I received the September box from Simply Earth in return for my honest review. All opinions are my own. My review contains affiliate links. Thank you!
I had been hearing about essential oils for a few years, but, other than the single bottle of peppermint oil in my cabinet, I’d been pretty clueless about them. I had used my peppermint oil in a little spray bottle with water to freshen our closets and repel moths and carpet beetles. (It smells wonderful! I’ve since learned that I can put a few drops of the oil on cotton balls, tie it up in a hankerchief, and put that in my closet too.)
But I was basically a newbie to the essential oils world when I learned about Simply Earth.
One of the first things I learned about Simply Earth is that they offer themed essential oil recipe boxes as monthly subscription boxes. The boxes come with the recipes and oils you need to make wonderful things with their 100% pure essential oils. I like the structure that the recipes provide, because even though I like to be creative, sometimes I definitely need structure!
Another thing that appeals to me greatly is that a portion of the purchases go to a non-profit organization that fights to end human trafficking. I love that so much!
So I was excited to give Simply Earth’s oils and recipes a try. The September themed box has ingredients for natural soaps and scrubs, a perfect fit for me and my sensitive skin. Plus compress and diffuser recipes and a Happy Joy roll on recipe that really does make me happy.
I was like a little kid when the box arrived from Simply Earth. Inside the September box, I found 4 bottles of essential oils, 6 recipe cards, Aloe Glycerine Soap, and a great silicone mold for the soaps. Plus cute stickers to label the creations and the tops of the bottles.
Along with the September box, I received the Big Bonus Box. It has the different containers, roller bottles, carrier oils, etc, for the future recipes. And it’s free for new subscribers! I can’t believe how much is included in it.
Cheryl packed my order. Cheryl is fun.
I’m really excited about the sugar scrub soap bar recipe, because my “mature” (very mature!) skin needs good exfoliation quite often. The Happy Joy roll on recipe is my second favorite recipe, because I love the scent of the Happy Joy oil so much. There are several other soap recipes and a recipe for a Lemongrass, Cajeput, and Bay compress that I’m excited to try.
If you subscribe to the monthly recipe box, you’ll receive a new box each month, designed around a new theme, that includes all the essential oils and ingredients you need to make 6 natural recipes. The monthly subscription is a great value and gives you what you need to make that month’s recipes.
And, here’s a gift for you, if you choose to become a monthly subscriber to the essential oil recipe box — Use my code, ANARTFULMOMFREE, and you will also receive a $40 gift card with your initial subscription box and bonus box. You can use the $40 gift card on your future purchase or next box!
You can purchase the products separately, (like peppermint oil for your closets!), or choose the ease and value of the monthly essential oil recipe box.
If you subscribe, don’t forget to use my code, anartfulmomfree, to receive the gift card for a future purchase. You can cancel at anytime. The oils smell amazing and I am loving the versatility of them, with all of the recipes.
