Thank you for being here for another Thursday Favorite Things blog hop and link party. It wouldn’t be a party without all of you.

I hope you’ve had a good week. If you’re in the USA, did you have a good Memorial Day weekend? Memorial Day is an important day here to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We had an especially nice one. My husband grilled for the first time of the season, too.

We attended a nephew’s high school graduation last night, and it was a little surreal because I swear he was just a little guy, sitting on a phone book so he could reach our kitchen table. He’s really smart, kind, and a hard worker, too.

We haven’t opened our pool yet, but I’m looking forward to that in the next week or two. I’m determined to use the pool more this year for exercise, rather than only floating in a pool chair, reading (!)

  4. Our daughter and her family have been in their pool too. But we had 3 days with rain and hail so they may have been a little premature, LOL. Great features my friend. Happy TFT day! xo

    1. Happy TFT day, Katherine! My husband and I just looked at the weather, and it’s going to be beautiful the next week, but a little too cool for swimming. So we will hold off on the pool. xo

  5. Pam, I hope to swim more for exercise in our pool too. Surprisingly the water actually gets too hot toward the end of the summer, so now is the time for me to do my laps! I need to be better at participating in Thursday Favorite Things as I so enjoy it.
