Helping the Victims of Typhoon Hayian
I haven’t been blogging the last few weeks (will update you soon, and I miss being here!), but my heart feels the need to do something to help the victims of the super typhoon that devastated the Philippines last week.
It was one of the strongest storms ever to make landfall, and the devastation is unimaginable. As you have probably heard, upwards of 10,000 men, women, and children are feared dead. Thousands of children and families have lost their homes and need food, water, shelter, and medical attention. The need is urgent and huge, and if some of you are wondering what small thing you can do to help, I have an option for you. By clicking the graphic here, you will have the opportunity to send aid. You can know that you’ve made a difference with this quick, simple act.
Thank you!
Very nice to see you pop in today, and for such an important cause.
I've been speechless watching the news.
Appreciate the link, Pam. thanks
My heart aches for what is going on over there. Thank you for posting this. There are many wonderful organizations that can use our help right now as they head over to bring food, aid and help in rebuilding.
I can't even imagine such devastation. Prayers go out to the people affected. ~ Abby
