More Valentine’s Day Fun and TFT #426

It’s already Thursday and time for another Thursday Favorite Things link party!  It’s true that time moves faster as you get older, and this past week disappeared.  My husband and I did make it to the new to us Mexican restaurant, and I had a wonderful birthday meal.  (I love it when the restaurant has a gluten-free menu.)

This week, I’m featuring Valentine’s Day fun again.  My husband and I  have never made a big fuss over Valentine’s day, as my birthday is the week before, and he always double spoils me then. (Plus, the restaurants are always so busy on Valentine’s Day.)  But it’s always been one of my favorite holidays, mostly because of the childhood memories (and the candy!)  I don’t eat a lot of sugar these days, but I still have a sweet tooth.  Here’s a tip – Russell Stover has sugar-free candy, sweetened with stevia.

On with the party!  As a reminder, please remember to leave a comment with your link number, and please pin from the original blogs. (I’d love it if you pinned the features collage above, though.) By adding your link here, you are giving permission to use your photos for features related to the party and on social media.

Here are my features from last week’s party:

Valentine Sugar Cookie Bars from JENerally Informed

Vintage Valentine Postcards from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S

Valentine’s Dessert Buffet from The Crowned Goat

Valentine’s Day DIY Wrapping Paper from It All Started with Paint

It’s time to party my sweet friends. You can add three links until midnight on Saturday. One each day or all at once. Please invite your blog friends and social networks to join us.

  1. Mornin' Pam! The vintage valentines are always my favorite, and all of this yummy inspiration has me considering a trip to the store for meringue powder to whip up royal icing. But the roads are terrible, and the snowflakes are in the air! I'm sharing inspiration at #32, 33 and 36 today and appreciate your time hosting TFT. Wishing you a richly blessed week flowing with the kind of love we all seek: pure, unconditional, and healing. Peace to you, friend.

  7. HAPPPPPPY BIRTHDDDAAAYYYY!!!

This week, I am sharing a special "cozy" throw pillow I've made especially for my home (#136), my friend Shawna shared a round up on my blog this week to help makers who need ideas for what to crochet for a Spring craft fair (#137), and lastly, my new Cropped Sarasota Cardigan (#138)! I designed the cardigan for a Spring themed blog hop, but it's my new favorite accessory – need to make a new dress to go with it.

  8. Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 2-3 to 2-7 on my blog. On Tuesday was Addiction Chocolate Cake. It tastes like a giant Ding Dong. Wednesday I featured a Banana Chocolate Chip Cake worthy of replacing any loaf style Banana Bread. Thursday I featured Slice of Heaven Cake. If you like caramel and snickers candy bars you need to grab this recipe. And winding up Cake Week I posted How to Pipe Frosting. It is part of my Tip Friday Series
