Some Fall Favorite Finds for Baking, Decor, Crafts, and Style

Today, in the spirit of festive fall thoughts,  I’m sharing some of my fall favorites — favorites for fall baking, decor, crafts, and style.  Some of these are on my wish list and some I already have.  They would make great hostess or holiday gifts too.

When I first started looking at autumn treats pans, one of the first ones I had on my list was this absolutely beautiful loaf pan.  Perfect for my pumpkin bread.

Then I saw the pan below, that makes individual sized treats ( a little bit smaller than a regular size cupcake, but a bit bigger than a mini-muffin, according to the comments.)  No slicing, plus the pan is a bit less expensive than the loaf pan.  I really like the idea of little shaped muffins and cupcakes (especially since pumpkin muffins are my favorite way to make pumpkin bread.)

As you can probably tell, I’m having trouble deciding, but most likely I will go with the second one, as it makes such cute individual treats and would be the most practical choice for me.  But, oh, wouldn’t that loaf pan make the most beautiful gift loaves?

I may be late to the mercury glass party, but I have fallen in love with this mercury glass pumpkin light. It would make a beautiful Thanksgiving centerpiece or a welcoming glow in the entry.  There are different colors to choose from, with or without the leaves. (I choose definitely with.)

For years, from October through Christmas time, I have been putting a garland of fall leaves over our hall tree in the entry and adding some white clear lights to it.

Thanksgiving, 2011.  I took this photo so I could remember my daughter’s pretty hair, but you can see a leaf garland there on the hall tree.  I think I got that garland at a craft store. I added my own lights.

This fall garland with lights has the lights already attached, and they are battery powered. Simple and cozy.  I think it would look great on a mantel. If I get this, I will buy 2 of them to make a swag over the door or the hall tree.

I fell in love with this beautiful freshwater pearl and beaded necklace.  The colors remind me of fall, but it’s not literally a “fall” piece, so it’s perfect any time.  The design is organic and lovely,  and it’s a fair trade product too.  I’ve been a fan of freshwater pearls since the 80s, when they were a thing, so they’re even a little nostalgic for me.  To me, though, the real stars of the necklace are the gorgeous beads.

Of course I have some art and craft things on my fall favorites list. Fall is when my art and crafting ramps up a bit, as the weather gets colder.

If you’re just getting started in brush lettering, or would like some fun pens to draw with, this 16 pen set of Crayola brush and detail markers is an economical way to do it (especially if you have Amazon Prime and get the shipping free.)

One end of each marker is a brush tip, and the other end is an ultra fine bullet tip.  There are 16 markers and a cute tin to store them in.  (And, don’t forget, you can do brush lettering with regular Crayola markers too!)

Pin for later!

I hope you enjoyed the list. Happy fall!

Can I just say, that loaf pan!! Holy Fall goodness! It's a bit of an investment though, not sure I can justify that one, but I am in love.
