Ideas for Spring Gifts and Your Home

Most of us don’t really need more “stuff,” but most of us do love receiving a little something special that has a sentimental or personal touch — something that has meaning to us or just lifts our spirits.

Don’t forget to Pin for later!

Maybe  you’d like to sprinkle family or friends with some gratitude or joy.  Or maybe you would like to find some fun spring things for you or your home or garden.  I’m sharing some ideas today.

Spring Ideas for Gifts and Your Home:

First, a quick handmade treat. It’s just a “little something,” but sometimes those are the sweetest gifts, aren’t they?  You could set one at each place setting as a little party favor.  Or keep a bowl of these by your door to treat visitors.

Here’s how to make this little “candy basket” with just a few supplies and some Hershey’s kisses:

I used a large circle punch to create a tiny candy basket that will hold 3 Hershey’s kisses.  (My circle punch is scalloped, but it will work with a regular one too.)

First, I punched the circle from some cardstock and stamped a little “bless you” sentiment on one side (that could have just as easily been hand lettered.)  I then scored a couple of lines about 3/4″ apart in the center of it, and folded the sides up to create the “basket.”  I punched a couple of holes on each side at the top, added the chocolates inside, and tied it together with a small piece of ribbon. (Not an award winning bow, but you get the idea…)  Make these with your kids or grandkids. It’s the little things!

This is the time of year I like to start thinking about making candles in pretty floral teacups, simple journals with floral themes, handmade photo cards, and white chocolate candies (or any chocolate candies!)

If you would like to shop for a few sweet items, here are some ideas I love:

The LEGO kits of plants and flowers are fairly new on my radar, and I’m intrigued by them! I discoverd them from my niece and nephew’s Christmas lists last year. (My niece is in college and had one of the Bonsai trees on her list. I thought it was so beautiful.) These are some that caught my eye for springtime.

I love these floral bird kitchen towels so much. I’m not sure I would even use them as towels, as they’re a little pricey for everyday dish drying, in my opinion! But, I think they’d look so cheerful and cute in the kitchen.

This pretty cotton blend vintage scarf is so versatile. I think the colors are stunning, and my thought is that I could use it as a swag above the glass doors in my art and craft space. It would also be pretty as a shawl or folded at the foot of a bed or as a pretty covering for a table, etc. So many uses.

This little bunny dessert stand is perfect for cookies, cupcakes, fruit, or candy.  Absolutely adorable.

I don’t know what it is about these Nordic Ware specialty pans, but I want all of them.  (Remember the fall loaf pan from this post?)  I want to make these bunny cakelets.

Nana and new mama alert!  If you have a new little one to shower with a baby gift, I love this sweet newborn blanket and headband set.  Photo-shoot perfection.

These seeds are non-GMO, and I just love the packages. Pair them with some sturdy gardening tools, and this would make a great gift for a gardener (or you.)

I hope you enjoyed my little spring gift ideas!
