Thursday Favorite Things #441

Hello friends, and welcome to another TFT link party. I’m so glad you’re here.

It seems that, despite the quarantine, (or because of it?), time is racing at such a pace that I’m having even more trouble than usual keeping up with everything.  My mind is always jumbled with all of the projects I want to do, all the tasks that need completing, and all the while I’m trying to keep up with the grocery list (since I’m still doing grocery pick-up and staying out of the store as much as possible.)

I will say that the quarantine has forced me to be more organized with my grocery shopping and keeps me more aware of how well stocked I am on basics. (Which, I guess is about time that happened.  There is always room for improvement in all things, am I right?)

I have compiled quite a list of art, lettering, and photography projects, too.  I’m hoping that my motivation will pick up to actually complete them.

Also, I haven’t been keeping up with replying to comments the last few weeks, but I read and appreciate all of them.  I’m grateful for each one.

I’m excited to see what you’ve all been up to.

Here are my features from last week’s party:

5 Ways to Upcycle Old Jars from Claire Justine

Simple Spring Home Tour from Shiplap and Shells

Dark Chocolate Orange Cream Candy from Across the Boulevard

Cream of Broccoli Soup from LouLou Girls

Our Hostesses

You will want to get to know these lovelies; they are blog party rock stars! Please follow their blogs and social media — you will be so happy you did. They also share features every week. 2. Ditto! I don't know where the time goes. Although, like you said, meal and grocery planning and shopping is much more of an effort. And, now that I've started back with gym classes via Zoom, it seems even more so. Part of it is also that I spend lots more time on the phone talking with family and friends via FaceTime and Zoom. And, hubby and I try to spend time taking a hike, working on a puzzle or playing a game together. So, I've spent less time blogging.

  3. I know how you feel about keeping up with everything…this quarantine has me all messed up! Thanks for hosting and enjoy the rest of your week! I am number 57 this week.

  4. I've been back to work for a few weeks now. Immediately felt like I was back to not enough hours in a day. This week I am sharing a plarn ear saver that I made for my cousin (#118), a cheerful, floral table runner that I am so proud of (#119) and a fun unicorn collection of Etsy finds (#120).

Fingers crossed you get your craft mojo back soon. I know how it can be to lose it, but sometimes all you need is a good break.

  6. I am definitely saving money on groceries because I'm always following a list and not adding a whole bunch of extra things when I happen to pass by them in the aisle! (we're doing all our shopping online now, even though some stores have started to open). Today I'm sharing #85. Thanks for hosting!
