Thursday Favorite Things #474

Hello, and welcome to the Thursday Favorite Things (TFT) link party!  I’m so glad you’re here today.

I’m looking out the window at some lovely falling snow, but I’m also hoping it stops before 5:00, when I have to go out!  We’ve had a pretty mild winter so far this year, and I’ve been so grateful for that. This winter is passing by really quickly because I keep waiting for it to really start. I do hate the gray skies, though.

I hope you’ve had a good week. I had some major dental work yesterday, but it really wasn’t as bad as my apprehension about it had been.

My art/craft area is still not finished, but I’m hoping to get at least a few pictures taken today. I appreciate all of the encouragement!  I’m usually hesitant to share my own home decor and/or organization, because they pale in comparison to so many others’ home decor and organizational skills.  And, nothing ever feels quite finished.  But, I realize that kind of perfectionism is really a hindrance and needs to go.

Here are my features from last week’s party:

I pin all of the features to my Thursday Favorite Things Pinterest board.

This week, I'm sharing 5 Winter DIYs on my sister blog, On Rockwood Lane, (#50), a review of a gorgeous crocheted shawl done by one of my awesome contributors (#55), and a free crochet pattern for some sweet heart squares that I am having trouble deciding what to turn them into… (#59).

Looking forward to seeing your photos. I know exactly what you mean! I try to fix up areas, and take photos of them, and I just can't seem to quite figure out how others get such good photos, while I'm here struggling. I think it might just be the lack of natural lighting, and tight spaces so can't really get a good angle.
