Thursday Favorite Things #668
I’m glad you’ve made it here to our weekly link party. Thanks for joining us! It’s time for bloggers to link up their old or new family friendly posts and to be inspired by all of the inspiration that is shared here.
I had originally planned to be back in Washington D.C. this week to support a family member who is getting medical treatment there. (I was there for a few days a couple of weeks ago, for the same reason.) For a few different reasons, it was decided that I’d not make the trip. It’s been a little worrisome, not being there to help because the side effects afterward can be kind of rough. But, I’m thankful that it mostly went well.
The weather has been making headlines, lately, hasn’t it? This isn’t a headline, but I did have a heart-stopping moment while driving in a big storm on Monday afternoon. Whew, I’m not much up to driving in straight line winds and blinding rain! Between the heat and the storms, a lot of places have endured some rough weather. How has your week been? (Weather-wise or otherwise?)
Here are my features from last week’s party. If you missed that one, you can visit here. Please pin from the original blogs, rather than from the images below. All of my features will be added to my TFT Pinterest board.

That Asian salad looks amazing. One of my favorite salads! I’m glad you safely survived driving through the storm! I’m at 159 and 160 this week!
I agree, that salad looks so good, Julie! And, I’m glad the storm passed quickly!
