Thursday Favorite Things #671

Happy August, and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here for our Thursday Favorite Things link party. Bloggers, share your family friendly blog posts with us. The blogging community is so full of kind, creative souls, and I’m always amazed at the variety of things that are shared at the party.

I’ve been enjoying the Olympics. I mostly only watch the gymnastics and the swimming, both sports that I participated in when I was young. Well, I only did gymnastics for a couple of years, if that, and quit because I got so tall. Gymnastics is more difficult when you’re tall! (It’s still obviously not easy if you’re short. 🙂 And, the Olympic gymnasts were amazing to watch. Such incredible athletes and such an incredible story that the women’s team was a part of.)

Swim team was the highlight of my high school years, though, so I enjoy the swimming events a lot, too. When I watch the Olympic swimmers, I can feel the excitement and can almost smell the chlorine! Have you been watching any of the Olympic events?
