Thursday Favorite Things #678
Happy almost fall, and thank you for joining us for another Thursday Favorite Things link party and blog hop. I’m really glad you’re here. It’s time to share your blog posts and have some fun visiting others.
One of the good things about the weather getting cooler (and you all know I’m not a huge fan of fall anymore!), is baking. Heating up an oven in the summer is something I avoid as much as possible, so fall and winter are the only times I bake. Here’s the thing, though. I don’t really enjoy the actual process of baking – I just want the end result. HA This old 2 ingredient pumpkin muffin post of mine still gets a lot of traffic every fall and winter, probably because it is a lazy, oops, I mean easy way to get a pumpkin treat in a hurry. And, they’re good! It’s another old throwback post from the year this blog was born, 2011.
This other pumpkin bread/pumpkin muffin recipe is relatively much more labor intensive, (but not difficult at all), and it’s SO good and will make great gift loaves. Bring it to someone on Thanksgiving, and you will make them so happy.
Here are my features from last week’s party. If you missed that one, you can visit here. Please pin from the original blogs, rather than from the images below. All of my features will be added to my TFT Pinterest board.

I can almost smell the pumpkin treats baking! I’m sure they’re delicious. Thanks for hosting the party — I’ve linked #14 and 15.
Yes, one of my favorite smells! Thanks for participating, Sandra!
Thank you Pam! I’ve got to try your pumpkin muffins, I am all about lazy recipes these days 🙂 Thank you for featuring my Corn Dip this week! My links today are #26, 28, 30. Happy Baking!
You’re so welcome for the feature, Jenna! And, for sure, most of my recipes are lazy ones these days!
I did NOT know you don’t like fall! Please enlighten me! I’m off to revisit your pumpkin muffin post. I’m at 57-59 this week! Have a good one!
Haha, Julie, I’ll clarify! It’s not so much fall that’s my enemy, but it’s a reminder that winter (which IS my enemy!) is coming soon. Winter saps my energy and mood, and fall moves in that direction. I do like a few things about fall, though! But, I could do without it… 🙂
Pam,
My Link Ups are # 82, 83 and 84….
Thanks so much for hosting!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!! I hope you are enjoying your week and you are doing well…

Hi, Pam; I checked out your recipes for pumpkin muffins, they both sound yummy and worthwhile trying, the perfect smells in the kitchen for the fall! Thank you for hosting another great TFT, and for featuring my tacos (Mexican, Tex-Mex and Swedish styles); this time I am sharing #148 Pambazo – A Bun and a Sandwich. Have a wonderful week!
They are two of my favorite recipes, Irene! You’re so welcome for the feature. I hope you have a wonderful week, too!
