Thursday Favorite Things (TFT) Link Party #528

I’m so glad you’re here for another Thursday Favorite Things link party! Every week, I continue to be amazed at the creativity that is shared here.

Here’s what I’ve been up to the past week:

I’ve been busy polishing up many of the posts that were migrated over to my new blog platform, but I still have a long way to go with that. Many of the old posts didn’t look quite right when they were migrated over, simply because they were written on a different platform. Not huge issues – just images that are a little scattered, headings that need to be tweaked, etc. Ten years of blog posts will take a while to polish up, and it’s a work in progress, for sure.

Also, I shouldn’t have complained about my week last week because this past weekend, I ended up in the ER, with a blood pressure spike that prompted an EMS call. (I didn’t know it was my blood pressure at the time; I just felt lightheaded, with chest pain.) I’ve never had problems with my blood pressure at all in the past, but suddenly it spiked to a “hypertensive crisis” and stayed high for a while. It’s like my birthday was taunting me – “you’re old!” The BP is back down now, though, and out of an abundance of caution, my doctor has scheduled me for some heart tests.

I can’t wait to see what you have been up to. All of your projects are so inspiring. Lately, I feel like I’m spinning my wheels, trying to be productive but coming up behind, but you all are the best inspiration around.

    Sorry to hear about your trip to the ER…I have been on 3 different BP meds for a very long time now….

    1. Wow, Debbie, I’m sorry to hear how long you’ve had the BP problems. I was kind of shocked that mine went to such a critical level, as I’ve never had BP problems before. (I kept thinking about strokes!) Thanks for your faithful participation here at TFT!

    1. I’m hoping the same thing, Julie. I love those shelves so much – I don’t trust myself to put some up myself, but I would so love to have some!
