Thursday Favorite Things #742

I’m so glad you’ve joined us for another Thursday Favorite Things link party and blog hop. It’s time to link up your family friendly posts, or just sit back and enjoy the inspiration. Please visit and comment on a few posts, too.

Thanks for all of the kind wishes last week. My nasty virus (my doctor thinks it was the flu-A that has been rampant) progressed to pneumonia, so recovery has been slow going. I was on two antibiotcs and now just one, and my lungs are clearer, so that’s progress! I was feeling a little bit cocky before I got sick, thinking I wouldn’t get very sick this winter because of how many supplements I take, but this thing really knocked me back. The good thing is January is now half over (which is always a good thing – I hate January!), and I’m almost feeling like myself.

Party Starts Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Central Time

  2. I didn’t realize that the pneumonia had JUST happened! Oh, no! I’m so sorry. Sounds like several have had this happen with Flu-A. One of the girls at work fainted at the register yesterday… she pushed herself to be at work (thanks to our manager’s awful temperament), and that’s what happened. EMTs had to be called, etc. Then they called me to see if I could cover for her today! I told them, “I don’t think that would be wise.” So, I go back tomorrow… feeling about 85% normal today. 🙂 Hope you continue to heal… quickly!
    Oh… I’m at 52-54 this week.
