Amazon Finds this Month

It’s been a few months since I’ve shared my Amazon finds, and I have some really good ones to share with you. From a sentimental fragrance to some really comfortable flats, I have loved all of these purchases.

Paloma Picasso Eau de Toilette

This one wins the prize as my favorite in this list, so I’ll start with it. There’s a story behind my love for this fragrance (in addition to the fact that it’s a lovely scent.) Years ago, in the late ’80s, when I was dating my husband, my roommate and I found a package on our porch that had been delivered to our address in error. We contacted the shipper several times, and finally we were told to just keep it. We opened the box, and it was stuffed with samples of Paloma Picasso eau de toilette. We both loved it and split the samples. I hadn’t had any for a few years. Recently, we’ve been struggling with an extremely difficult situation in our family that has had me sad, so my husband surprised me with a bottle of this, to help cheer me up. It’s a beautiful scent and is associated with such good memories, and it really did cheer me up!

Women’s Casual Short Sleeve Square Neck T-Shirt

It may not be the most exciting thing to purchase t-shirts, but I always have trouble finding flattering ones, so I’m happy to have found this one. The neck is square, the length is good, the fabric is soft, and the sleeves are not too short (which is usually my complaint about most t-shirts.) It’s a little step up from a typical t-shirt because of the square neckline and the very slight puff to the sleeve. I bought it in 3 different colors. A nice little everyday top.

Dream Pairs Women’s Ballet Flats

These days, I prioritize comfort when I’m purchasing shoes. I had been wearing my Skechers walking shoes this summer (which I love) every day, even to church, but with some clothes they are a little bit too casual. So, I went on the hunt for a simple ballet flat that would be comfortable and appropriate when I wanted a step up from my Skechers. These flats have been just what I needed. They’re comfortable and simple. I did have to size up a half size, so they might run a little small. I was a little spoiled with the comfort of my Skechers, so these have been a nice find. They’re comfortable and cute.

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer

Recently, my face moisturizer from Aveeno was discontinued, and honestly, now I’m thrilled about that because I’ve found one I like even better. Much better, in fact. A little bit goes a long way, and it has a very silky, non-greasy feel that leaves a balanced, moisturized feel to my skin. Honestly, this stuff is amazing. I don’t typically get excited about skincare products, but this moisturizer is wonderful, and you only need a small amount to get great results.

CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser

Here’s another skincare product that has me a very happy customer. This facial cleanser has done a wonderful job of gently exfoliating my skin. I had been using scrubs and exfoliators that irritated my skin and made my skin look worse. This cleanser, used with a simple washcloth twice a day, has my skin feeling renewed and soft. All I need after this is my moisturizer and sunscreen.

the Balm Madlash Mascara

And, lastly, here’s a fun find that I’m happy to share. Mascara may not be a huge priority in life, but it’s kind of difficult to find a good one (at least for me!) This one has been a favorite of mine recently. No smudging, easy to use, and it gives my lashes the length and volume they lack. It makes me happy.

Have you found some fun finds on Amazon lately? I’d love to know.
