First, an update. A couple of people have asked about our Sunny dog, who has been in kidney failure for some time now.  I’m happy to say, she’s doing fairly well, relatively speaking, and still enjoying her days. The snacks, the snuggles, and her bedtime ritual (my husband pets her back until she falls asleep next to us on the sofa – a matter of minutes after her dinner!), keep her quality of life high. She’s 15 1/2, and my husband is betting that she’ll make it to yet another Christmas. I’m not sure about that, but we’re enjoying every day with her.
