Thursday Favorite Things #561

I’m so glad you’re here today for our weekly Thursday Favorite Things (TFT) blog hop and link party. Thanks for joining us!

I hope you’ve had a good week. I had my first hot cocoa of the season, and, as sad as I am about the weather getting colder, I did buy a couple of cute new fall tops. So there’s that!

Losing our Sunny dog has taken a toll on some already tough family times, so it’s been a rough time, for sure. But, we’ve been reminiscing so much about our Sunny and enjoying the memories. She was such a special creature, and a true friend, full of unconditional love, which isn’t always easy to find in this world. So, we’re appreciating the blessing that she was, and we’re also enjoying her little clay footprint (or, as my son calls it, her “post-mortem puppy souvenir.”) I hope that doesn’t sound too macabre, but a little laughter is always good medicine! Our love for Sunny lives on, and her “Sunny essence” is still with us, even though she is not.

At the blog this week, I shared How to Improve Your Kitchen Skills this Fall and How to Make Cooking More Enjoyable. I enjoy cooking and baking so much more in the fall and winter than any other time of year.

Here are my features from last week’s party:
