Thursday Favorite Things #722 Nosh, Declutter, & Journal

Happy Thursday, and welcome to Thursday Favorite Things! Link up your family friendly blog posts, old or new, and be sure to visit some others. If you could share the party with friends and social media, we would appreciate it!

Party Starts Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Central Time

First of all, I apologize if you tried to leave a comment at last week’s party and were unable to. There was some kind of techincal problem at the web host, for part of the day. So I hope nobody got too frustrated trying to leave a comment!

How has your week been? It’s been a lovely week here with plenty of sunshine and a relief from the heat. How are you all doing?

I started doing Tai Chi this week (not the spiritual part of it, just the physical movements and breathing.) It’s supposed to help with strength, flexibility, and balance. It’s also very relaxing. I’m loving the gentle physical exercise and the breathwork. Years ago, when my daughter and I were taking Tae Kwon Do classes, there was a Tai Chi class in the same facility, and we would watch that class sometimes. I remember wondering how such slow movements could do any good at all. But, I was much younger then! I’m actually feeling the benefits of it, even after just a week.

Here are my features from last week’s party. If you missed that one, you can visit here.  Please pin from the original blogs, rather than from the images below.

  1. I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying Tai Chai! I’ve never tried it but am intrigued by it. After a few years of dabbling with yoga, I’m finally really enjoying how my body feels when I’m doing it, so I’m guessing Tai Chai would be similar.
