Thursday Favorite Things #479
Welcome to another Thursday Favorite Things (TFT) link party! I’m really glad you’re here.
This week on the blog, I shared a guest post about How to Cope With Your Dog’s Chronic Condition. It was meaningful to me because our Sunny has been in kidney failure for quite some time now – over a year, I think. She’s doing amazingly well at 15 years old, and her condition is “stable.”
Last week, I wrote about how to make a discbound journal, and I have a follow up tip to that. This week, I was in Michaels for a few minutes (my reward after another dentist appointment!), and they had Happy Planners (a brand of discbound planners) on closeout for $6.00. (They are regularly $32.00 when purchased at the beginning of the planning year.) Now, I personally have never used a Happy Planner, but I grabbed one of these $6.00 ones because the discs alone can cost that much, and the laminated cover is really pretty, so I will use those elements for creating my own journal. Plus, I now have a half year of a planner that can still be used.
I thought I would let you all know that, in case you are interested in the discbound notebook system. If you have a Michaels near you, they might have the planners on closeout, too.
Here are my features from last week’s party:
I pin all of my features to my Thursday Favorite Things Pinterest board.
Paper Butterflies from Simple Joys
Eggless Apple Cake from Treat and Trick
Lamb Egg Warmers from Tschi-Tschi
Chocolate Oreo Popcorn Crunch from Building Our Hive
On with the party!

Hi, Pam! I've missed you and TFT and am finally back (the pandemic has added so many assorted cares and stresses). Love those paper butterflies and need that recipe for the apple cake. I'm sharing at #198, 199, 200 and hope this finds you safe, hopeful, and creatively joyfully! xox
Hi Michele! It's so good to see you here. I've missed you, too! I hope all is better for you. I'm thinking I'll make that apple cake soon, but I'm not sure I can trust myself. I hope you have a safe, hopeful, joyful week. xo
